Dr Mutiu Adeleye

Dr. M. A. Adeleye holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Geology, Petroleum Geology and Geology respectively from the University of Ibadan. His research interest lies in sedimentology, biostratigraphy, and evaluation of hydrocarbon prospectivity of Nigerian sedimentary basins. He was at the Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, China for his doctoral research laboratory experiments, where he acquires skills in Organic Geochemistry with emphasis on hydrocarbon generation and impact/remediation of organic pollutants. He is an active member of Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS), American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) among others. He is also a registered geoscientist with the Council of Mining Engineer and Geoscientist (COMEG). He has attended several workshops/trainings such as train trainer fieldwork, petrel training for university lecturer among others and equally served as resource person in stratigraphy review committee and Tertiary institution accreditation.
